Keep Thinking Like You’re Told

We are told what think (and often how to interpret our thoughts) by those we listen to.  And somehow we can trudge on in a false sense of originality.  This is having an amazing effect and notable uptick in polarization of perspective.  These stakeholders want to use us, and we willingly comply as though the idea originated with us! A lot of current noise we are hearing is nothing more than whining and complaining since someone didn’t get what they wanted / aren’t getting what they want, but they’d prefer to state it in broader terms to make it seem like something other than it is.

This is truly observed among conservatives and progressives and is in fact an indication of personal immaturity, and only serves to rally those who are similarly (or even less) mature.  Grow and shut up comes to mind. Mind your own business, do your own work, have some resilience and resist the urge to look for an existential crisis behind every disappointment.
